Fonda 500

Since emerging from a disillusioned British music scene in 2000 with their critically acclaimed album ‘8 Track Sound System', Fonda 500 have pre-empted musical styles and scenes, and released a succession of influential yet highly individual albums. Their forthcoming release ‘Je M'appelle Stereo' is no exception. True to form Fonda 500 are once again unapologetically irreverent, this time gifting us with a true timeless classic, full of wonderment, love and audacious twists and turns brimming with Northern swagger. Refreshingly free from gimmicks and trends, ‘Je M'appelle Stereo' will both electrify the body and warm the soul.

The sound of Fonda 500 makes a beguiling group photograph. Outrageous Led Zep riffs firmly hold up the back row whilst Beatles rhythms make rabbit ears sneakily behing Kraftwerks' upright mid-row stance. SFA mess up the middle of the photograph by tickling ELO in the ribs and making the 2 nd row a blur. The front row is topped off with the Beastie Boys sat hands on knees next to Cornelius, with beautiful Brian Wilson cheekily lying on the floor pretending to swim.

Bitmap

In the worlds before Bitmap, primal chaos reigned. Heaven sought order, but the phoenix can fly only when its feathers are grown. The four worlds formed again and yet again, as endless aeons wheeled and passed. Time, and the pure essences of heaven, the moisture of the Earth, the powers of the Sun and the Moon, all worked upon a certain rock, old as creation, and it became magically fertile. That first egg was named 'Thought'... Elemental forces caused the egg to hatch; from it then came Bitmap. The nature of Bitmap was irrepressible.

Husband

Husband is not a band. Husband is Alan Fears and Alan Fears is Husband.........

He mucks around with sticks and string and cobbles things together like wonky little pop songs for people with wonky little ears. He moves around the house, sofa to chair, watching telly, eating snacks and making songs up for fun. Sometimes He gets serious too.
