The Phynx (Cover-only movie prop for fictional band!)

Disc Condition: There is no disc, the record doesn't actually exist
Cover Condition: Excellent, has some partial shrinkwrap. The back cover slick is actually from a different unrelated record (see 2nd photo).

Interesting artifact here, this was made to be used as a movie background prop or as promo material for a movie of the same name that infamously debuted in 1970 and only played on a couple screens in random locations. It bombed so hard that basically no one saw it (despite there being some actual Hollywood stars in it) before copies of the film started trading hands on the vhs bootleg circuit decades later, from what I gather. A small handful of copies of this have surfaced, some include bonus promotional photos but this one is the cover only. I imagine if this film had had any success they would have used this cover art for the soundtrack, but alas, it never materialized for obvious reasons.
